Winter Walk

Hope you all had a good weekend. We went on a nice walk around town. The sun was shining, but Brrr was it chilly!

Spring & Easter Flowers

Even though there is still snow on the ground, the trees are starting to bud! Today the sky is blue, and it's making me think of spring!  Time to start putting more fresh flowers in the house to brighten up the days!   Flowers always make me happy, and are such a lovely way to decorate the house. Martha Stewart always has beautiful ideas on her website, it always makes my day.

Have a great weekend everyone,
& treat yourselves to some flowers!

Wedding Inspiration

These are a few photos for my wedding inspiration. My colours are white, olive green, and pink. I definitely want to make some pom pom's and have them hanging from the ceiling, and wanted balloons too, but do you think that would look tacky? I kind do.
I'm loving those 3 bouquets. since I want to make my own, I will make something similar, thinking green hydrangeas with some white lilies and pink roses...
We are also not having a traditional wedding cake, cup cakes are my favourite so why not at a wedding, looks like it's becoming quite common!

Leg of Lamb

I made a leg of Lamb for the first time on Valentine's Day. We really enjoyed our meal, and it was so easy to make that I thought I would share it with you.
Cut small slits into the lamb and put little slices of garlic into them.  In a separate bowl,  combine Paprika, Salt, Pepper, Rosemary, and Thyme. Rub olive oil all over the leg, and then rub the herb mix all over too! Bake in the oven at 350 for about 1.5 hours depending on how done you like it.  After 30 mins add the beets, and hour into it the carrots, yam, and potatoes. When everything is nearly ready I used a cast iron pan with a little bit of water to steam the asparagus for about 6 minuets then I drained the water and friend it for about 4.  When done drizzle the asparagus with olive oil and a little big of balsamic vinegar.  We also had Mint sauce which added so much flavour!!

My Fiancee wasn't home last night so I took this time to catch up on some Scrap booking, and when I say catch up I mean catch up!  I'm happy to have finally gotten Halloween done, and luckily since we were away I only have 1 picture for Christmas.  Hope to catch up soon enough so I can start on some Spring time pages!

Etsy find

Searching Esty the other day I came across Jennifer Morris beads. I instantly grew in Love, her designs are so beautiful. They remind me of medieval times, something that royalty would wear. Hope you enjoy!

Mak's Birthday shoot

We received a photo shoot as a Baby shower gift last spring from some really sweet friends. We just recently did it for Mak's first Birthday. We shot at a local park that is on the oceanfront, luckily the weather cooperated with us and it was a beautiful day.  I'm going to show the pictures in 2 different posts because there are so many of them. Stay tuned for tomorrow to see more!
