DIY Gardner's Ornaments

I found these adorable little garden tools today and right away I was inspired to make them into Christmas tree ornaments for our gardening friends.

I used a glue gun to attach the rake and hoe, and then tied a bow around them.
With the shovel I used the glue gun to attach the bow and pretty string on both ornaments to hang them from the tree.

I can't wait to give them away this Christmas!

Christmas Vase DIY

Hello everyone, I have been away for far too long, but we were away in Playa Del Carmen for some much needed beach time!
Hope you are all enjoying this christmas season. Now that we are home I've been having so much fun decorating!
Last night I made this quick vase for my spider plant and it was super easy.

Materials:
mason jar
tape
chalkboard paint
paint brush

Tape off the size and shape you would like your chalk to be.
Pint 1 layer of the chalkboard paint and let sit for 1 hour until you do another coat.
You should read the instructions for your chalkboard paint, they may all be different.
I only did 2 coats and it seemed to work, but I was very gentle peeling the tape off once the paint was dry.
I also had some green string that I added for an extra touch :)

Vegan Spelt Muffins...

I got this great recipe from a girlfriend of mine

Recipe:
3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup soaked dates ( I usually soak over night)
3 tbsp. melted coconut oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups spelt flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
(optional chocolate chips, for the chocolate lovers like me!)

Put muffin liners in muffin tin
Mash bananas and dates, then add coconut oil cinnamon and vanilla
Slowly add spelt flour and baking soda
Spoon into muffin tins
I bake mine at 350 for 18mins

These are so delicious!!
