Today a bit of cuteness I found on this Etsy store :Mari Martin

Fabric hot mat

 I made myself a fabric hot mat this 

weekend from my recent blog post:

  Make your own fabric basket. I didn't

 buy enough rope for a bowl so ended up

 making the hot mat.  This project was so fun! I would recommend it to everyone, and it didn't take very long, maybe an hour.

Fresh kitchen

I spoiled myself to some new

 kitchen linens. It was pretty hard to find 

the right colours, but this is what I got from 

a company called "now designs".   

I'm actually quite happy with it,

 it look's pretty cute once everything's in it's place!

My new globe that I found at a local thrift store for $2.50! 

The crazy thing is, I went into the store looking for one, thinking there would be no way one would actually be there. I browsed through the whole store finding other things, and when I was walking up to pay it was sitting on a table by the cashier!

Tree Island

We spent yet another weekend out at Tree Island. The weather was SO hot, and it was gorgeous out. We got home around 8 last night, and when I woke up this morning it's now grey and raining! crazy how the weather can change so fast! I'm so happy we got to enjoy the beach on last time.
