Middle Mountain Mead

I did a wine tour on Hornby Island when I was visiting family last weekend, and I can't believe I've never done it before! There are now 3 Wineries, a Meadery and a Ginary! It was so much fun. 

Below are some pictures from Middle Mountain Mead that I took. Mead is made from honey, and they make so many different varieties by adding fruit, and herds.

It's the Island I spent my childhood summers on, and later moved to. My husband grew up there, and even though we live on Vancouver Island now, we have tons of family and friends there and still visit it frequently.
